Bwlch Mountain Walk
Trek to the top of one of the most scenic viewpoints in South Wales.
Leave the noise and clatter of busy Valleys' life far below you are you follow streams and landscapes to the Bwlch Mountain top.
Admire views for miles as you stand at the crossroads to three Valleys county boroughs - Rhondda Cynon Taf, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.
Pack a picnic. wear sturdy shoes and leave at least three hours for this 13km walk from Treorchy to the Bwlch viewpoint.
Or you can grab a hot or cold drink, ice cream or snack from the van usually parked at the viewpoint - relax, sit back and meet the friendly local sheep, who are used to visitors and having their photos taken!
This is a steep and challenging walk, but so worth it.
