Bunch of Grapes

The Bunch of Grapes is a historic pub dating back to the mid-1800's on one of the few surviving sections of the adjacent Glamorganshire Canal which is currently being restored.

Located just off the town centre, this busy and well-loved gastropub is highly acclaimed with a menu featuring locally sourced choices prepared freshly onsite including daily baked breads using brewery grains. Special food and drink events occur throughout the year such as Welsh cheese nights and Cooked over the Coal evenings as well as celebration events such as US Independence Day and Live Music and Pizza! It consistently features in the Good Food Guide and has won a number of awards for its diverse and creative menu.

The bar is also renowned for its unique variety and range of guest craft beers and ciders with nine cask and five keg always available. This includes it’s own range of award winning CWRW OTLEY craft beers from its onsite micro-brewery which is a legacy of Owner and Head Brewer Nick Otley’s original, award winning OTLEY BREWING COMPANY. Regular Tap Take over’s occur where quest Brewers from across South Wales come to meet customers and share their own ranges of craft beers.

There is a choice of comfortable seating areas available within their sizable but cosy bar, open plan kitchen where food is prepared as guests relax in the restaurant, a decking area and courtyard situated next to the micro-brewery.
